The Dean of Administration & Finance oversees various financial and business operations as well as providing all necessary services to ensure the educational process is supported in a safe and well-equipped environment. These responsibilities include financial planning, budget development and control, investments, personnel services, physical plant management, new construction, risk management, real estate management and various service operations such as Associations which includes the Bookstore and Day Care Center.

The role of the Office of the Dean of Administration is to establish and lead an administrative center that facilitates research, provides quality, customer-service-oriented, state-of-the-art support to faculty, and assures compliance and accountability in all of the School's research activities. The Dean of Administration plays a role in developing strategic, policy and administrative recommendations to support the research programs at the Smith Christian University.

The Dean of Administration is the administration leader of the University and carries out the responsibilities of the Chief Operating Officer and Vice-Chancellor for the management of the administration affairs of the University at the International level. This division is organized and operated to provide premiere service to the university in the stewardship of its human, physical, financial, and informational resources.
