Mend the GAP between where you are academically and where you want to be!
You've just graduated from high school or you're transferring from another college - "Look out SCU, here I come!" The college experience can certainly be one you'll never forget, but unless you know how to handle academics at the college level, you may not be able to enjoy all the experiences of college. Even if you did well in high school, don't assume you know all the techniques that will make you successful in college. But don't worry (one of the best study tips you will ever try)! Once you arrive on the facility, you won't be left to fend for yourself. The GAP offers services to assist you in your academic pursuits, both in and out of the classroom.
Services include, but are not limited to:
-
Tutors for any subject in which you may need extra help,
-
Help with study skills such as reading comprehension, test taking and note taking,
-
Personalized study strategies, and
-
Time management assistance.
