Guidelines for Paying Tuition and Fees to Enroll in a Degree Program
If you would like to enroll in Smith Christian University you must meet the stated financial requirements.
Book Fees: The cost of textbooks/workbooks are not included in the price of tuition, you will be given the total price for textbooks/workbooks once you have chosen the degree program you wish to enroll in. The cost of textbooks/workbooks are fairly low and very affordable.
Payment Plans Offered
Monthly payments are based on TUITION ONLY and do not include registration and graduation fees. Balance of Tuition must be paid before graduation and/or before degree can be received or conferred.
Graduation Fee: SCU now require all students to pay a graduation fee towards receiving their degree in the amount of $150 which will offset the cost associated with graduating. Each graduting student will receive 1 sealed transcript, 1 custom frame with school logo and name of university engraved on it, 1 unsealed, 1 degree, 1 degree holder, 1 verification letter from the Vice Chancellor/Provost, 1 verification fax form, 1 cap, 1 tassel with pendant, 1 award of academic excellence if so earned.
Mode of Payment
1. For those living in USA
(a) Personal Checks/Electronic Checks will be accepted in U.S. Dollars, in favor of "Smith Christian University" Personal checks may be mailed to:
Main Campus and Administrative Offices, P.O. Box 16482, Plantation, Florida 33318
Electronic checks can also be used as a form of payment, we will provide you with necessary information to have your tuition debited from your account.
All course materials will be emailed to you only after your check has cleared the bank.
(b) Credit Cards can be accepted through paypal. Once your online application is received and processed you will receive a paypal invoice from Smith Christian University for payment of your application fee, if not done so already.
2. For those living outside of USA
The contribution should be sent in one of the following ways in U.S. Dollars:
(a) Bank Draft drawn from a U.S. Bank, sent in favor of "Smith Christian University" and mailed to
P.O. Box 16482, Plantation, Florida 33318
(b) Bank Transfer - Details will be furnished upon request
(c) Western Union - The payment should be sent in the name of "Smith Christian Unviersity" and given the following address in the form: 1170 Sunset Strip, Sunrise, Florida 33313
If the contribution cannot be sent in one of the above ways, you may suggest for our approval, any other mode of payment, which is possible and acceptable to you.
The cost of tuition that is applicable to the degree program, in which you want to join, should be sent along with your application or at the same time. Your application will be processed, and the Admission Letter will be sent only after the receipt of your Tuition, based upon your monthly payment arrangements, or your Tuition in full.
A Special Note to all Prospective Students of Smith Christian University
Since the cost of the tuition that you will be making to Smith Christian University is a fairly low amount compared to the amount paid as fees charged by other Colleges and Universities in U.S.A. or any other country, please do not request or apply for any Scholarship or Concession, any such requests made will not be entertained or replied. SCU currently offers internal, subsidized scholorships on a need basis.
